The Kilby KJ Gas Tank Skid Plate is made from 3/16” steel with a raw finish that is ready for paint or powder coating. The skid plate protects the rear mounted fuel tank better than the factory sheet metal shield, which is extremely vulnerable to rock impacts. The skid plate is designed to provide maximum side and differential clearance. The skid plate installation is simple using the factory mounting points and hardware.
