This Trail Boss Front CJ Bumper is manufactured from 3/16” thick HRPO steel finished in a durable satin black powder coat. The Trail Boss Front CJ Bumper features integral winch mounting, which eliminates the need to purchase a separate winch mount. Two massive 1” thick fully welded front clevis mounts ensure secure attachment points.
Installation notes:
- For winch installation, a Kilby “Hawse” or “Roller” Fairlead mount (sold separately) is required.

The Trail Boss Rear CJ Bumper is manufactured from 3/16” thick HRPO steel finished in a durable satin black powder coat. The bumper securely attaches to the rear of your CJ and includes a heavy-duty backing plate and additional side frame braces for maximum strength. The 2” accessory receiver is integrated into the bumper for increased ground clearance. Two massive 1” thick, fully welded clevis mounts provide secure attachment points.
Installation notes:
- Minor drilling required.
- The fuel tank may need to be loosened and/or removed for mounting access during installation.

Kilbys Fairlead mounts are manufactured from 1/4” thick HRPO steel, gusseted for superior strength, and finished in a durable satin black powder coat. The RFM-1 and RFM-3 mounts are compatible with most aftermarket roller or hawse type fairleads. The RFM-2 mount includes a signature billet aluminum fairlead designed specifically for use with synthetic type rope to reduce wear and increase lifespan. These mounts are specifically designed to fit Kilby Trail Boss Front TJ, YJ & CJ Front Bumpers. Roller/Hawse Fairlead mounting plate only (Roller or Hawse Fairlead must be purchased separately).

The Kilby Removable License Plate Holder is the easy way to attach your license plate to the roller fairlead. Made from .090 aluminum and powder coated in a satin black finish, the holder securely clips to the rollers. When you need to use the winch, the mount pops completely off without tools. Assembly is simple and 100% bolt-together.

The JK Hawse License Plate Adapter Bracket is designed for use with Kilbys clamp-on License Plate Holder # KE-LPH. The adapter simply slides behind the Hawse Fairlead and provides a seating surface for the plate holder clamps. The adapter is powder coated in a durable wrinkle black finish. No additional hardware is necessary. Installation is simple and 100% bolt-on.

- Fits Kilby Bumpers & most vehicles with “Hawse Type” fairleads.

The Kilby CJ Gas Tank Skid Plate is made from 3/16” steel and powder coated in satin black to blend in under your Jeep. The skid plate protects the rear mounted fuel tank better than the factory sheet metal shield, which is extremely vulnerable to rock impacts. The skid plate is designed to provide maximum side and differential clearance. The driver side is also extra tall to provide heat shielding from the exhaust. The skid plate installation is simple using the factory mounting points and hardware.
Installation Notes:
- Fits 1976-1986 CJ-5 & 7 models with factory 20 gallon plastic fuel tank.
- 100% bolt-on installation.
- No body lift required.
