All of our brackets are built with 1/4" and 3/16" steel and are laser cut to assure complete accuracy and great looks. Our custom combo pulley is made on the latest CNC machines and everything is Zinc plated to prevent rust.
In 1999 DaimlerChrysler changed the AC compressor mounting dimensions as well as the location of the AC manifold. It was necessary to manufacture a new bracket to accommodate the changes for the 1999 models. The biggest change was having to move the compressor mount closer to the passenger fender by another 1.75" vs. our KE-1000 kits. Because of this change, customers will have to cut their fender to make room for the York compressor. If cutting the fender is not desirable, check out our kit part number KE-RCA1. The KE-RCA1 is a rotary compressor adapter bracket that allows the use of a Sanden type of compressor in place of the York. Fender cutting isn't required with this setup unless the customer runs a big body lift without an engine lift.
You will need to remove the factory air cleaner and replace it with a Turbo City or equivalent filter and air tube setup. The core support rod above the factory AC compressor may need to be bent to clear the compressor.
